Retrofit Fire Collar Through Wall 40mm FCW40 Promat The Through Wall Collars have been tested and approved so that they can be positioned at the angle required for falls specified in routing plumbing pipes.

They are designed for insertion into wall elements made of hebel, plasterboard, concrete or brickwork, for use with a range of pipes for up to 120 minutes fire rating (in accordance with AS 1530: Part 4, AS 4072: Part 1 and BS 476: Part 20).

Unlike the standard retrofit fire collars which require a collar on either side of the wall, the Through Wall collars only require one collar to be installed into the cavity in the wall.

The fire collar, the pipe and the actual installation all affect compliance with the FRL, so be sure you use the right collar and the matching installation procedure, as per the test report.
